The Book Club at Ortho!

What is the Book Club at Ortho?
Book Club

Every 1-2 months, the students choose a new book for the Book Club. Students decide how many chapters to read and then meet each week to discuss the book.

When does the Book Club meet?

Each time a new book is chosen, different students are in the Book Club. The students vote on a day of the week and a time of day (before school, lunch or after school). So, for each book, the meeting time is different.

How can I join the Book Club?
Look for updates on the website or on Schoology. The librarian will have a form you can fill out to vote on the book, as well as the day and time that the club will meet. Or you can just come and talk to the librarian!

We are currently reading "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia Butler.
