Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

If visiting our campus, you will need to log on to https://dailypass.lausd.net and obtain a daily pass, follow prompts. If you have no access to a computer, we will do the screening on campus.

Class of 2026 Summer Bridge

Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet invites the Class of 2026 to participate in the in-person Summer Bridge. The program will run from June 13 to June 24, 2022 from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Earn 2.5 elective credits, make new friends, get advice from the alumni Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 Ortho seniors, and learn about Stress on the Brain from Ortho teachers.

Sign up by May 1, 2022.

We want to welcome the newly accepted Ortho freshman from the Class of 2026!

Parents, log in to the Magnet Parent Portal to accept and save a spot for your child before April 8th.

In-person registration and enrollment packet pick-up for accepted students will begin Monday, April 4th, 2022.

2022 Magnet Schools of America School of Distinction

Congratulations Ortho Magnet on being named a 2022 School of Distinction!

Ortho has been named a National Magnet School of Distinction by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools.

To receive a national merit award, members of Magnet Schools of America must submit a detailed application that is scored by a panel of educators. These schools are judged and scored on their demonstrated ability to raise student academic achievement, promote racial and socioeconomic diversity, provide integrated curricula and instruction, and create strong family and community partnerships that enhance the school’s magnet theme.
